EXTRUSION

Plasta d.o.o. operates a modern machinery park that includes 12 extrusion lines with a production capacity of 25.000 tons of PE products per year. Since 1980, we have been producing mono and coex films (3-layer and 5-layer) for both industrial and consumer applications, capable of meeting the most demanding individual customer requirements. With annual investments and upgrades to our production lines, combined with highly qualified staff, we maintain quality and production capacity at a very high level.

During extrusion, we produce films from polyethylene such as LDPE, HDPE, MDPE, and recycled polyethylene (rPE) from our own recycling department. Standard products and custom-made products can be printed on demand (up to 8 colors) using flexo printing technology.

With more than 40 years of experience and state-of-the-art extruders, we can produce high-quality flexible packaging films according to the following criteria:

Materials:

LD-PE, LLD-PE, MD-PE, HD-PE, rLD-PE, rHD-PE, rMD-PE (recycled material, PCR or PIR)

Material quality

Virgin material (standardized, 1A)
PIR (post-industrial recycled material, high-quality sorted recycled material produced from waste film from our own production)
PCR (post-consumer recycled material, high-quality sorted recycled material produced from consumer waste films)

Film width (extruded products)

approx. 150 mm – 12.000 mm

Maximum lay-flat film width

up to 2.600 mm

Film thickness

approx. 7 µm – 300 µm (depending on raw material/polyethylene)

Cores (on which the film is wound)

made from various materials (HDPE, PVC, paper, or metal) and diameters (38, 50, 76, and 152 mm)

Film transparency

natural, transparent, or highly transparent

Film coloration

partial or full color coverage (non-transparent) according to customer request; coex films can have different color combinations.

Foil types/shapes

Flat film (with or without edge trimming), tube, tube with gussets, half-tube, half-tube with gussets (with center or side cut options).

Film perforation

Microperforation (straight – square, diagonal – diamond, segment).
Macroperforation (holes from 6 mm to 80 mm).
Special perforation (laser-treated).

Film surface properties

Slip, non-slip, or anti-slip – with or without pre-print treatment as per customer reques

Functional additives

Anti-static, UV stabilizer, UV absorber, anti-block, anti-slip, slip, anti-fog, anti-drop, anti-odor, AOX

Marking / signing

Various inline simple (single-color) printing (e.g., recycling mark, serial number, logos, barcodes, QR codes, production date, traceability data, and other symbols required by the customer).

Special labeling with high-resolution inkjet printer.

Printing

Inline flexo printing up to 8 colors (Pantone© color scale).
Maximum print width: 2,050 mm.
Repeat length: up to 1,000 mm.
